Arlo Burrows is the leader of the halfling community of
Deepvale. He is a young halfling of serious disposition
who is a little nervous about his current status. He was thrust into his current position
by the untimely death of his father coupled with the unexpected loss of his elder brother,
Mido, who went on a journey and never returned and is now believed dead. He did not intend
to take up his father's profession as cleric of
The Maid, the halfling's goddess, as this was his going
to be his brother's vocation. As one of the few halflings in the community who can read,
write and has travelled outside the Vale he had the encouragement of the majority of the
community to step into his father's shoes.
He considers the appearance of
Penva and his party at the
Deepvale Fort to be the answer to his
prayers to the Maid and is in awe of the holy man who is quietly encouraging him.
