The Society of Derei is the vehicle through which the Pel lord
Derei extends his influence in
Pel society. Members extend from legitimate business owners to a variety
of rogues and bandits. Although few wear the square green knot on a silver field that is the emblem of the Society many Pel assembly members have been bribed to
look after the Society's interests.
The Society's greatest influencce is in and around the city of
Arpel but its tendrils extend anywhere in Pel where there is a profit to be made and also
into the other Dominions. The Lord of the Pel,
Arthrazoc, is only too aware of the Society's activities and actively seeks
to curb its influence.
