Viridistan is the largest city in the Wilderlands and has a population estimated to be in
the region of 120,000 of which
about 70% are human, 5% are elves, 10% dwarves and the remaining 15% are mostly a mix of
halflings, gnomes, and more exotic races.
Roughly 80% human population is of
Common Viridian descent with the remaining 20% mostly
Tharbrians or
Altanians. The many opportunities for work as mercenary
have also attracted a sizeable minority of
Amazons to the city.
Although there is a simmering undercurrent of xenophobia in the city it rarely comes to
the surface due to the
Emperor's well-known dislike of disturbances.
Exotic races can expect to be cold-shouldered in public but will tend to get served in the
city's shops due
to the fact that greed outweighs
prejudice in most establishments. The service, however, is likely to be surly.
