Religion

There has always been a small shrine to Brigit in Quinden and the majority of the village worshipped the goddess even before the current temple was built. The popularity of Brigit, however, has definitely increased since its construction with perhaps 70% of the village now devoted to her as their primary deity. As is the way in many communities in Oerth even the majority of the remaining 30% tend to acknowledge the goddess in some way and will attend the major festivals of the temple.

These numbers ignore the personnel in the Keep as Baron Drampinhill banned his followers from attending the temple and indeed from any form of religious meetings although they were allowed to conduct personal rites and wear religious symbols if they desired.

There are no other public shrines within the village confines. Many houses, however, will have a small shrine within to the household's personal gods.
