Although Damkina is a small city it does have its own distinct districts. The
roughest is in the north-west where the poor and disreputable live and where
the
Thieves' Guild and the
Red Knife and
Orcs' Delight taverns are situated.
It should be noted that even this area is considerably less squalid than simlar areas
in other cities as Damkina insists all houses are connected to the sewers and boasts a refuse
collection service.
The south-west of the city is where the craftsmen have their workshops and where the more
affluent of the working class live. It is also where the Temple of
Glor'Diadel is situated.
The Overlord's palace is on the hill in the centre of
the city and is surrounded by the palaces of the nobles whereas the wealthy merchants and
other well-to-do folk live in the larger houses on the eastern side of the city. The
Temple of Allworthy is in this part of the city.
North of the Overlord's palace at the foot of the hill is the market area and the
Silver Eye and
Plaza Taproom taverns.
