Tanturak is a former colony of some now long-forgotten Northern empire. Even before its parent
civilasation fell Tanturak itself had gained a reputation for corruption. Free from the restraint
of paying taxes to the North the wealthy colony unfortunately wasted its undoubtedly rich resources on wars
with its neighbours. Rather than creating its own empire Tanturak has, however, generally ended up doing
no more than giving its enemies a reason to unite. Still it remains a great military
power both on land and sea and vies with
Koronande for supremacy in the region.
