The Mumakani are a brutal and barbarous people who were corrupted by
Zananku in the distant past and taught how to turn great elephants
into terrifying war machines. Ever since then they have made a fetish of elephant warfare without
ever having the tactical skill to make use of this advantage in a sustained campaign. Furthermore their energies are often
turned in on themselves in inter-tribal rivalries.
Although aggressive towards all lands on their
borders they are considered not to be a major threat to the region unless led by an exceptional warlord or an outsider like
Zananku himself.
