Stag Lord's Fort

The Stag Lord's headquarters is a fort built on a hillside and surrounded by a 15' palisade consisting of logs sharpened to spikes at the top. Inside is a ruined building that the bandits discovered and decided to fortify. They have only partially restored the inner walls of the building but they have used it as a base to build walkways so that they can see the surrounding area. All undergrowth has been cleared for at least 30' around the fort. A 300' long path leads up the hillside and the bandits can easily survey it as there is no cover of any kind on or beside the path.

The other three sides of the fort offer some large boulders and the odd thorn bush which might act as cover for stealthy intruders. The ruined building on the hill was, however, a monastery and the graveyard covers these parts of the hill. The bandits found out to their cost that walking on those sides of the hill at any time of day or night attracts the attention of the undead occupants of the site.

In addition to clearing the bandits from the Fort Wren and his friends cleared out the undead from the old graveyard. The Fort now serves as Wren's HQ. A notable resident is Harlann, the Dragonborn ambassador who resides in the basement and has much expanded it with the aid of a kobold workforce. Since the ejection of the bandits from the Fort the village of Guilin has grown up near the hillside.
