The Reetland population is one of the least diverse of all the nations around the
Blue Sea, being 90% Reet.
Unlike
Cambria there are no Elven forests and no Halfling villages
although a smattering of Elven craftsmen and Halfling tradesmen are to be found in the
big cities. There are, however, two major Dwarven mines in Reetland at Stone Hall in the Cloudy Mountains and Silvertine in the White Mountains
and as in Cambria these communities are governed by their own laws.
Dwarven craftsmen in the big cities are, however, like their Elven and Halfling counterparts well
integrated into the Reetland community and look to their Guilds to protect their interests.
In a typical Reetland city there will be few if any of members of other minority races and if seen they are likely
to be visitors.
Perhaps surprisingly
Reetland has also a lower proportion of
Southerners in its population (perhaps 5% of the population) and these
are mainly concentrated in the cities of Golotha and Chelemby.
This may well be due to the fact that although freedom of religion is a right within Reetland many Southerners feel uncomfortable with the overwhelming presence and influence of the
Pelorean Church in Reetland society.
