Makan is an area to the east of
Koronande which is slightly dryer and at a higher elevation than its neighbour and
as a result is mostly savanna. Others says the real reason this region is not jungle is the vast herds of grazing
animals including elephants which roam the region. The area is populated by the primitive and
agressive
Mumakani famous for their use of war elephants.
