The Lake of Visions is a large lake near
Capricia which is the source of the
River Northwatch. It gets is name from the gas which sometimes
bubbles to the surface which can cause the local fishermen to have visions. It is said that
these can be of the past or future and alchemists, herbalists and witches are known to
purchase supplies of the lake algae which they clain is infused with the gas.
Apart from this minor inconvenience the lake is popular with fisherman from Capricia because
it is richly stocked with fish and devoid of monsters.
