Kolda is a semi-underground dwarven village which is home to the most prestigious
group of ironmasters in Altanis. The weapons produced by Kolda are famed throughout
the Wilderlands. The dwarves are somewhat insular and no non-dwarf is ever allowed through
the twin gates of the village. They also prefer to trade exclusively with other
dwarves but such is the quality of their products that many come from as far afield
as Quitak.
The recent disruption of the land route to Quitak meant that the dwarves of Kolda for once
had to travel themselves in a bid to find a market for their goods. Luckily they found
the merchant

Maven Ford who was quick to spot the quality of their work
and rich enough to buy their entire wagons of goods.
