Jarmaco is a quarrying village in the Cloudwall Mountains. The miners quarry for
stone and flint for which their chief market is
Quitak. They are a close-knit community,
all the more so because of the ever-present threat of attack from the local black mountain
orcs. Miners come from Alryan, Tharbrian and
Altanian stock and humans provide 80% of the population.
To work as a miner membership of the local mining guild is compulsory. As most miners worship
Morg the rituals of the guild have become intertwined with those for the god.
It is not known how the miners have coped with the disruption caused by the dragon
at Atwain.
