Buhr Thurasig

Buhr Thurasig was founded in a valley in the foothills of the Siver Peaks at a site chosen by the great hero Bran himself in -794 specifically so that his Marwhini tribe could trade with the dwarves who had newly reoccupied Celeb-Ost. The town was actually built across the only road up to Silverpit so the tribe were also able to charge a toll on anyone else wishing to take that trade route.

The town is perhaps best known for its biannual trade fair (which is as old as the town itself) held near the spring and autumn equinoxes and generally lasting for a week. The fair attracts not only traders and entertainers but frequently acts as a pre-arranged meeting place for wandering peoples such as the Tabaxi and Vistani.
