Thaskhokar's Tavern is situated on the harbour front and is popular with sailors
(including
Skandik merchants and slavers) and travellers.
It is a good place for a bard who knows his sea shanties although Kamali Itlari, the owner,
has to be badgered to let you perform. Kamali is a morose sort with a disfigured face,
believed to have been caused by trying to use his father's laboratory after the old
boy, the renowned Thasokhokar, had died. Kamali is very touchy on the subject and
has been known to ban patrons just for enquiring as to what lies in
the tavern's basement (now sealed).
Despite its owner Thaskhokar's is good place to meet people with a lively atmosphere and any
bard looking
for adventure will find plenty of openings if he spends a little time there.
