The Pack and Shack, on the corner of Ironmonger Lane and Carpenter Street, is run
by the Dwarf brothers Duwalin and Bladdin. All races are welcome although 50% of the clientele
are dwarves and orcs, goblins and elves are served in a somewhat surly fashion.
The inn is run to appeal to dwarves which means straightforward dealing, hearty meals
and rather basic accomodation. It is a favourite for dwarf travellers and much news of dwarvish
concerns in the wider world can be heard here. The waiters are two dwarves, who double as
bouncers, and two halflings.
Duwalin had much expertise as a miner before he retired here and is always ready to offer
advice on the subject. Bladdin runs the kitchen and is an expert on culinary herbs favoured
by dwarves.
