The landlord of The Hearty Halfling, situated in Dragon Alley, has had much of the inn converted to accomodate halfling
size furniture and rooms. As a result 70% of his clientele are halflings as are all of his
staff bar a single half-orc bouncer, Grug. Although the landlord, Murgun, claims that he
just likes halflings and their chatter the outlay for the conversion proved an astute business
investment as the place is
always packed.
The food tends to be simple but good value and larger humanoids find that the servings
are of adequate size. The accommodation is again fairly basic but kept very clean and
the main problem for visitors is that the rooms tend to be frequently fully booked.
The tavern is an excellent source of gossip as many halflings are employed as servants
of the well-to-do.
