In a very smelly city Pic Fiender the Cartographer is one of the smellier objects. A somewhat
uncouth and unkempt person Pic has also little understanding of real map-making. He does,
however, have an unusual and valuable gift which is the ability to reproduce maps to a
high standard of accuracy. His prices, however, are by no means cheap e.g.large wall map - 45gp.
He also sells 'treasure maps' which to the skilled eye are obvious fakes although he
claims to never have had a serious complaint about any of them that he has sold!
Pic's slovenly air is deceiving. I would judge that he has had something of an adventuring
life in his background and this is also revealed in his plausible tales regarding how he
came by his 'treasure maps'. He could be seriously and dangerously thuggish to dissatisfied
customers in my opinion.
