The Wanderer’s Inn is a typical city inn, focused
on providing visiting merchants and laborers with
entertainment as well as shelter. The proprietor is
Brooding Heylon, a once jolly publican, now given to bouts of despair since the abduction
of his daughter Yianiena by a troll near the Redoubt
of the Dead.
When dour-faced Heylon is in one of his
times of despair, his operations are
overseen by his capable staff:
5 able halfings:
2 human chambermen, 2
human serving
maids
and a half-orc
cook.
House
specialties are
roast duck, (provided by Elvamor
the Archer,
of Marble
Hall),
5 sp; goat’s
milk, 1 cp;
house
ale, 4 cp. Lodging: 1 gp per night, 5 gp per
week.
Both his halfling employees and his neighbour Elvamor are on the lookout for any
adventurers who would seek for Heylon's daughter but are able to offer little reward for what
would potentially be quite a dangerous journey into the Dearthwood.
Secretly thay know there is not much chance of finding her alive but feel at least Helon would
find closure.
According to some of the halflings who drink at the Wanderers' Gorco Sandheaver, who works
for Heylon, has
discovered a secret entrance in the inn's basement
that may lead to the sewers.
