The She-Devil Tavern is popular with all races although
it is too pricey for the city's poor.
It is known for its all female staff
and in particular the exotic dancers, Aliena
and Celiana, identical twins, who
perform exotic dances with Chakdan a female
who can change her appearance in a variety of crowd-pleasing
ways and who also acts as a bouncer.
The owner, Shantra of Altania, is an exotic beauty in her
own right and also a deadly fighter.
Customers are served and entertained by
additional barmaids, dancers, and servants
doling out meals (2 gp),
ale (1 sp) and extremely popular roast
wyvern tongue (4 gp). Shantra, who has an adventuring past,
is rumoured to possess a number of magical items. A long-standing tradition says there
are secret passages below the tavern that may connect to levels deeper and older than
the sewers.
Shantra occasionally will agree to test her fighting skills with patrons in the alley
behind the inn.
Popular gossip says this is because she is trying to put together an adventuring group
for some task. Not many men agree to the challenge as most have lost to her skills and in any
case it is said she wants the balance of the party to be women.
She is rumoured, however, to have recently acquired a tiefling who meets her criteria and is
hopeful of completing the party in the next month.
Visiting bards are welcome as long as they are female.
