Kaala Bloodaxe

Kaala, a half-orc, was born in 1363, the youngest of the three remarkable daughters of the Orc High-Chieftain Krug Bloodaxe and Alwyn, daughter of Sagga of the Black Horse Tribe. Unlike her sisters Kaala resembles her mother in looks although she has inherited her father's superb physical prowess and has his jet black hair. By her own inclination and Krug's policies she was brought up in the household of her mother's parents and can ride a horse as well as any Black Horse tribesman. She also favours mannish weapons; her favourite being a greatsword.

In all appearances Kaala is very much a warrior and she is reputed to have slain an Ettin in two blows when barely past her 17th birthday. The emblem on her (elvish) armour is, however, that of Magrish, Goddess of the Plains. Like her sisters Kaala is devoted to the goddess and although young is one of the leading priestesses of her religion.

After helping clean up the village of Dolgold, Kaala was asked to lead the Merchant Adventurers in Ristenby and she felt working in a more urban environment would broaden her experience. In practice in return for learning the more streetwise skills of her companions she has frequently taken them out on patrol throughout the wilder parts of Starstone County
