Alfonsus Dulk was a personal manservant to the great Lord Caronus approximately a thousand
years ago. Nearing his death he was honoured by being given the opportunity to continue to
serve the House of Caronus in undeath as a guardian of the family tomb. For the past
millenium he has kept it clean and tidy and free from would-be looters.
He is semi-incorporeal and can pass through the stonework of the tomb at will (if necessary
taking others with him). He can also cast a limited number of clerical spells.
According to Alfonsus the Lord Caronus whom he served counted among his good deeds the
employment of sentient undead whose consciousness was still trapped in an undead body. The
environments of The City apparently encourage this phenomena. Also according to Alfonsus
the tomb used to be situated in a good neighbourhood which has deteriorated (it is now
the Slums). Alfonsus does not leave the tomb.
