The Heralds of Spring (Tuile Nornore) are a secretive Elven organisation of which even the Elves know very little. The few facts
that are known about them are
- They were formed thousands of years ago after the
The Great Cataclysm
- They were committed to restoring the climate of the region which had grown colder due to the baleful influence of Malgoth
- Since at the time many races blamed the Elves for the destruction of the Ancient North they operated
in complete secrecy from hidden bases and few knew they even existed
- No one outside their organisation really understands what they do except they appear to advance their goals by a deep and powerful magic
- Many feel they must have entirely failed in their mission because of the
The Great Darkness
- The Elves counter that no pockets of civilisation in the North would have survived the Great Darkness without the previous actions of the Heralds of Spring
- Their patrons are the god Elebrin Liothiel and the goddess Hanali Celenil who, it is said, both take a personal interest in their quest
Of late it has become apparent that they are opposed by the goddess Auril whose followers may wish to frustrate or even reverse their efforts.
