The Isles of Ethereal Bells are a group of islands off the
Pazidan Peninsula. They are so called because
seafarers are said to hear the sound of mysterious bells beneath the waves when passing
near the Isles. The villagers
of Doratis are said to use the sound of the bells to steer
them home when the weather is bad. The islands are also home
to mer-elves and pirates. The pirates are, however, reluctant to attack shipping
near their hidden base on the isles.
Legends say the isles were once home to an ancient civilisation and unidentifiable rusting
metal objects are sometimes found by explorers.
