Dagonsharp is small village of goblins at the mouth of the River Maldevar. They are
an offshoot of the goblins of the Antillean Highlands and still in theory are bound
to pay a yearly tribute in slaves which they used to make up with unfortunate kidnapped
travellers. Now, however, like
Belitsward to the south the harbour has attracted something
of a curse. Deep discordant music is heard at regular intervals emanating from the sea.
As a result the goblins are afraid to launch ships and their overlords are reluctant
to approach the harbour to investigate the problem.
The goblins appear to have overthrown their chief who they blamed for their troubles and
have elected a council to run the village and keep the unruly gnoll and orc minorities under
control. The village is now less of a threat to travellers but is somewhat chaotic and still
best avoided by weak parties.
