Coverling is one of the oldest human communities in Oricha. Its main export is gold
and many of the villagers either work in the mine or are part of the well-run security
operation that sees the gold safely exported. The destination of each gold shipment
is never revealed by the cartel that runs the operation but it is believed that most of
it is shipped to Viridistan. There is an insidious influence from the cult of
Armadad Bog in the village which does not please
many members of the cartel who wish to keep their relationship with the Green Emperor
strictly on a business level.
Most of the villagers are of human Tharbrian stock although perhaps 20% are non-human,
mainly dwarves, elves and halflings.
