The College of the Mind is a training college for students wishing to develop mental skills to combat intelligent and insidious evil outsiders and aberrations. It is being constructed just south of the Great West Road. Its Masters are a breakaway group from the
Uligorn Inquisitors who hope to teach the same skills as the Inquisitors have done but to avoid the pitfalls that have caused that organisation to acquire a dubious reputation with the
general public.
Their approach is that graduates from the college will be individual practioners of their skills rather than directed by a central authority. This the Masters hope will avoid their new order being used by governments to conduct witch hunts for political gain.They also put more emphasis on seeking redemption for the evildoers their
techniques expose. Indeed in seeking permission from Wren to build the college , the Masters have had to make several
undertakings regarding their teaching and practice of this nature.
