Campaign House Rules
Death
- A character dies if his HPs fall below -(total normal HP) minimum CON
Healing
- Natural healing occurs at the rate of 1HD (+Con bonus)/ hour
- Note that if you have a Bard in your party who plays soothing music while you naturally heal you get an extra d6 per HD
- Maximum natural healing per day =0.5 (normal HD (+Con bonus)). You are allowed to roll 0.5HD
- Healing Kits give you Proficiency in Medicine (twice Prof if you already have it)
- Proficiency in the Herbalism Kit allows you to brew a Potion of Healing in a day for 25gp. You will need herbs (1 day foraging for d4 doses)
- Stabilising a dying character is generally DC15
Equipment
- A masterwork weapon costs +600gp to normal costs
- A masterwork suit of armour costs +300gp to normal costs
- If you have proficency in a toolkit and proficiency in a relevent skill it is likely that you can add twice proficiency to your roll. Consult your friendly DM.
- Note that artisans' toolkits are the portable things that workmen tend to carry around e.g. builders' tools do not generally include a crane.
- The Elves and Dwarves make superior non-magic +1 weapons which cost 2 x v3.5 magic costs. Generally only those races typical weapons are available.
- The superior weapons are available at Fairhold (Elvish), Mountain Hall (Dwarven), Pell's Hold and Ragenport
- Common sense suggests that any illegal source of magic weapons would price them at least 4 x v3.5 prices
- Scrolls can be made by anyone who (a) knows the spell and (b) has proficiency in Arcana (arcane spells) or Religion (divine spells). Spellcasters without either of these proficiencies may still create healing spell scrolls if they have proficiency in Medicine. See table below
