Buhr Fram

Buhr Fram is the clanhold of the House of Bran, a Marwhini tribe whose leaders claim descent from the legendary hero. The hill fort is an incredibly ancient site Bran having captured it from another chieftain shortly after his heroics with the cold drake. Until the arrival of the Eastern Horde the northern frontier of the Marwhini's lands was considered its most vulnerable frontier. The names of the early Kings of the House of Bran give some indication of just how dangerous these lands were at that time e.g. Bor Bloodaxe, Scarac Giant-Killer, Magnus the One-handed.

Those scholars who see a relationship between the Reavers and the Marwhini cite in particular the House of Bran given their propensity for blonde hair, a rugged build and their love for Odin (Kema) which persists to this day.
