Buhr Ailgra

Buhr Ailgra is a typical fortified trading settlement of the Marwhini. The town was originally founded over 1500 years ago. Its original name was 'Alcisbaurg' meaning 'Deer Fortress'. The settlement consists of turf and thatch houses surrounding a ceremonial hall and is protected by a ditch and earthen rampart with a fortified gate. The community is led by a Thain elected by all the adults. At all times he will have 10 - 15 armed guards at his beck and call to ensure order is kept in the village.
