Bonewrack Island

Bonewrack Island is a tiny island on the fringes of The Shackles. Unmarked on any chart the island has nevertheless in the recent past been home to a small fishing community. This community appears to have been overwhelmed by a tribe of grindylows who took up residence in the caves of Riptide Cove on the western coast of the island.

Also in the recent past the island seems to have been the site of a shipwreck whose remains can be seen poking out of the water not far from Riptide Cove. The survivors built a stockade on the western ridge and may have included the slave girls who took up residence at the Whores' Boudoir. All the survivors appear to have succumbed to Ghoul Fever which can be spread by mosquitos, swarms of which can be encountered anywhere in the island but particularly in the island's eastern swamps.
