Blackwarn's Gallows

Blackwarn's Gallows is a natural stone arch in the sea on the western coast of the isle of Besmara's Throne. It has become the custom for the priests of Besmara to execute heretics and religious malefactors there by hanging them from the arch as a grisly warning to others who might be tempted to offend the goddess. The arch itself is huge and the largest ships could sail through it without the tops of their masts disturbing the hanging corpses. This is something no same pirate would do, however, due to the arch being so close to the jagged rocks which dot the shoreline on this wild part of the coast.
