Besgar is a small village on the western coast of the Antillian Peninsula
populated by tribesman of
Altanian stock. Although keeping
many of the tribal traditions of their forebears the village has been
'civilised' by druids and their religious life is now centred round the worship of Beytnorn,
God of Trees.
The village, however, still retains
a female druidical Protector as well as now having a male High Druid and the exact
interaction between the two
is not well understood by outsiders.
Just outside the village is an ancient tower believed to date from an earlier civilisation.
Although partially ruined the villagers use it as a lookout tower.
