Ashwood is a small human settlement famed for the quality of its olive oil. The oil is
exported throughout Oricha. The cartel which controls the market in olive oil has in
recent years fallen under the influence of the Mer Shunnan religion and a shrine to
Armadad Bog has been erected in the village. The
leader of the cartel Pisdre is apparently one of the most enthusiastic worshippers
of the god.
These developments have coincided with the cartel being more ruthless with the independent
farmers who grow the olives. There have been complaints of favouritism towards fellow
worshippers of Armadad Bog and even of strong arm tactics and 'outside influences'. The
price of the oil has also gone up which has led to complaints from the cartel's customers
